Did you know that jewelry can be made from stained glass? Beautiful, sparkly, colorful, elegant - the shape, color, and vibe is up to you. Join us to learn how to turn small bits of shimmering glass into stunning stained glass art jewelry! In this class, students will learn to design, construct, and properly reinforce a pendant made from stained glass. Skills used include: glass cutting, grinding, copper foiling, soldering small pieces. All experience levels are welcome! Each student will leave this one-day workshop with their completed jewelry and valuable knowledge in designing and creating their own wearable art. These techniques allow you to upcycle bits of glass left over from other projects into their own works of art. All materials provided. Who Should Attend - Appropriate for participants with limited or no glass-making experience - Children 13 and over are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult and will be allowed to participate to the extent to which they are safely able to Additional Information - All materials included in price - Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED - Bring lots of water (it is hot in the shop!) and snacks as desired Scheduling information - Class duration: Approximately 4 hours - This class has a minimum of 2 participants, maximum of 6 - Please note that your class may be rescheduled if fewer than 2 participants are registered for the session - Got a larger group?
